CRAZZZY FACTS....

  • During the Korean War Air Force pilot James Risner successfully “pushed” his wingman’s incapacitated jet fighter into friendly territory using the nose of his own jet. A maneuver that had never been attempted in history.

  •  There is a group of people in northern California and southern Oregon who wish to secede from their states and create a 51st state, to be called Jefferson

  •  A US Army veteran, severely depressed after his wife filed divorce, both parents dead of cancer, his equipment stolen, income stopped, utilities cut off, house in foreclosure, stole a TANK from the armory, went on a rampage on the streets destroying cars, was finally shot and killed. 

  •  Stalin’s guards were so afraid of him that no one called a doctor until 12 hours after he had a stroke. They feared he might recover and execute anyone who had acted outside of his orders. 

  •  Kijong-Dong is a village located in North Korea, by the border to South Korea, built solely for propaganda reasons. It has no residents and many of the buildings have no window glass or furniture, and features fake street sweepers and lights set on timers to make the village appear inhabited. 

  •  In 2006 a Norwegian coach gave a ski pole to a Canadian, allowing her to go on to win a silver medal. Canadian citizens were so touched they collectively gave him 5.2 tonnes of Maple Syrup.

  •  In 2008 Lamborghini gave the Italian state police the world’s fastest police car, a Gallardo LP560-4, which was equipped with a video surveillance camera, gun racks, GPS, organ transplant cooler (in the luggage compartment) and defibrillator. It was crashed the following year.

  •  During the Mexican-American war an estimated 700 Irish men deserted the US Army to join the Mexicans and fought in the Battle of Churubusco. The were called Batallón de San Patricio (St. Patricks battalion) and are considered heroes of Mexico. 

  •  Native Americans serving in the Marine Corps are allowed to use Peyote for religious ceremonies as long as they are not on duty or within 24 hours of being ready to ship out. 

  •  In 1985, Philadelphia police used a helicopter to drop two bombs on a house during an armed standoff. The bombs ignited a fire that killed 11 and destroyed 60 homes.

  •  While J.R.R Tolkien was at Oxford, he stole a city bus as a prank and took his classmates for a joyride around London.
